FORMER PRESIDENT OF INDIA PRANAB MUKHERJEE DIES AT 84
Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee died after being admitted a few weeks ago for a brain surgery. The 84-year-old was admitted in Delhi’s Army’s Research and Referral (R&R) Hospital, where he breathed his last on Monday. Mukherjee had tested positive for the coronavirus disease before undergoing a successful surgery to remove a brain clot.
“With a Heavy Heart, this is to inform that my father Shri Pranab Mukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital and prayers, duas and prarthanas from people throughout India! I thankall of You,” his son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted.
