The 22-year-old, Sandeep Pokhrel was crowned the prestigious title “Mr. Nepal 2015” in a convincing manner and earned the right to be called as Nepal at “Man of the year 2016” that held on Saturday, August 20 at Grand Central Hotel Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Though Sandeep could not hold the title, he succeeded on grabbing two of the sub-title categories which were “People’s Choice Award” and “Man of the year 2016 Best Talent (Masterly) Award”. Karan Singhdole from Philippines was named as the winner of the “Man of the year 2016” contest. Likewise, Tarek Moaykel from Lebanon, Tim Bertrams from Netherlands, Trinh Xuan Nhan from Vietnam and Meirizal Rifa’I from Indonesia were placed at 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, 3rd runner-up and 4th runner-up respectively in the contest.
Towering at 5 ft.11 inches, Sandeep is an undergraduate student at Apollo International College studying BBA. Beside the major award of Mr. Nepal, he had also bagged the title of “Face Of Panache , season-2” earlier this year.
