Magar community’s historical and traditional festival ‘Bhume Parba’ has been started from 1st Asar (15th June). Magar’s living around Kathmandu organized a program at Tundikhel in Kahtmandu. Bhume Parba is one of the important festival of Magar’s. Magar is one of the indigenous community of Nepal and they have their own unique culture like many other community. Indigenous are nature worshippers. They celebrate Bhune Parba by worshipping earth and nature to protect human being, grains, live stocks etc. Magar’s sacrifices Ram on Bhume Parba to please mother nature. Bhume Parba is celebrated for three days.
