The man needs no introduction and is probably one of the finest actors that industry has. His versatility knows no limits and there is nothing he cannot do. Before he became known for his role in edgy films like Hostel Returns, Junge, Bir Bikram, Gatho, Najir was killing it on stage.
Yes, you read it right, Najir Husen who started with theatre in Mandala Theatre, Kathmandu is one of the finest actors in the industry.
As Najir made his debut as a director with the play “The Ugly Duckling”, the actor, who doesn’t shy away from experimentation, is reinventing himself in another role. “Ugly Duckling”, his directorial debut on stage, is happening at Mandala Theatre, Anamnagar and the artist has dived into the deep end with his usual zest.
The play based on writer Hans Christian Anderon features Najir Husen as Ugly Duckling, Bijaya Karki, Kiran Shrestha, Milan karki, Binita Gurung and Bikram Shrestha. His play has been staging everyday at 5:30PM till Jestha 20 (June 3) except Mondays.
