DURGA GURUNG SOLO NIGHT
Singer Durga Gurung solo night happened yesterday at Nachghar Jamal. Program was organized with the aim to preserve, prune and promote ‘Kaura’ song. Program was run for three long hours and singer Durga sung songs created by himself, Resham Gurung, Prem Gurung, Man Bahadur Baral Magar, Maya Gurung and many other lyricists. More than dozen of singers like Sharmila Gurung, Bhimu Gurung, Rehsam Gurung, Raju Gurung, Tek Gurung, Tika Pun, Durga Gurung Tamusyo, etc. Durga sung Aayou Hami, Jhilke Bhena, Gairagau Siranchok, Solu Jubu Gau, Rising Danda Ramailo, Aakasai Ujyalo, Timrai Aaganma and many other songs at the event. Singer Durga was declared as “Chudka/ Kaura Samrat” and Musician Resham Gurung was declared as “Chudka Sarjak Samrat”.
