Newar communities have celebrated Gaijatra festival amidst of ongoing pandemic. Gaijatra is one of the most important festivals of Newars. This day is celebrated in remembrance of deceased of their beloved ones. It used to be very lively festivals of Newars and other community but they celebrated this year’s Gaijatra in minding physical distance and government directed rules.
