Hindu religious people’s one of the biggest festivals Janai Purnima or Rishitarpani is celebrating all over Nepal. Different community people celebrate Janai Purnima in different ways. On this day Brahmins change their holy string (janai) and other hindu people tie string on their wrist from priest. People in Terai region women celebrate this day by tying fancy bracelet (rakhi) on their brother’s wrist. They also wish their brothers well beings. Newar community celebrates this festival by eating mixed vegetable soup and worshipping frog. On this day devotees goes to holy place Gosaikunda of Rasuwa district. People living around Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur visit SANO GOSAITHAN if they are unable to make to Gosaikunda.
