MISS LIMBU 2015 BISHNU CHEMJONG
Bishnu Chemjong all the way from Tandi-5, Morang has won the title of Miss Limbu 2015. Eighteen year old Miss Chemjong has just completed her ten plus two. Currently living in Nakhipot, Lalitpur Bishnu is also honored by Best Smile award in Miss Limbu competition. Bishnu can speak her mother tongue fluently and her future plan is to open Limbu language institute. Pictures are captured by streetnepal of Miss Limbu Bishnu Chemjong. कार्यक्रममा सृजना, कल्पना, मिहेनत र मेकिङ अद्भुत समायोजन भएका क्रिएटिभ वेयरको प्रस्तुति रहेको थियो।
Indian actress Malaika Arora has participated in the ‘Fashion Runway Expo’.
She participated in the ‘Fashion Runway Expo’ organised by Nepal Gem and Jewellery Association in Kathmandu on Thursday.
In the jewellery fashion show, Malaika walked the ramp dressed in Nepali dress and jewellery. Malaika was charmed in a Nepali designer’s attractive lehenga and diamond necklaces, rings, bracelets. Nepali Actress Swastima Khadka also participated in the expo.
Models and actresses presented jewellery and fashion designs at the Gem and Jewellery Fashion Runway held at Hotel Yak and Yeti.
Nepali origin American fashion designer Prabal Gurung and his team have received ‘Positive Social Influence’ award in America. Prabal and his team’s fashion house ‘House of Slay’ which was established in 2021, was awarded by CFDA on Tuesday night. ‘House if Slay’ is founded by a group of Asian fashion designers Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Laura Kim, restaurateur Ezra j. Williams, and stylist Tina Leung with the aim to support Asian American Pacific Islander community. Gurung was accompanied by singer-songwriter Varsha Thapa while receiving the award.
