Kirat Rai community living around Kathmandu valley gathers at Tundikhel every year to worship and celebrate Ubhauli. They worship nature and their ancestors during Ubhauli wishing to have better crops and wellbeing. Ubhauli means moving upward and Kirat people used to move upward to avoid the heat during summer.
