TAAN EXCHANGE TAMU LHOSAR/LHOCHHAR GREETINGS

Tamu Artist Association of Nepal celebrated the Gurung community’s greatest religious and cultural festival Lhosar/Lhochhar in the capital on Friday evening. At the event ex-president of ATJON (Association of Tamu Journalist Nepal) and news editor of Sagarmatha TV Ganesh Man Gurung expressed greetings and thanked the entire artist who works day/night to save Gurung culture.

Likewise, Tamu Lhosar/Lhochhar Main Organizer Committees secretary Lok Bahadur Gurung also greeted and said that the Gurung Artists are capable of accomplishing the entire task regarding Tamu culture at the Lhosar/Lhochhar celebration which is going to take place at Tundikhel Kathmandu. TAAN’s president Raju Gurung honored donors and the artist who are going abroad for cultural tour on the occasion of Lhochhar/Lhosar. Event was happened in presence of attorney Bel Bahadur Gurung, banker Gobinda Gurung, advisor Jiban Gurung among others. According to Gurung’s religious and traditional belief this year they will bid goodbye to the year of Monkey welcome the year of Bird. Lhosar/Lhochhar is celebrated as a New Year among the Gurungs.
