DEVOTEES SELFIE CRAZE
This is the month of Shrawan, Hindu religious people take month of Shrawan as holy month. Mondays on Shrawan are taken as more precious days in Hindu community. Hindu women observe fast for prosperity, good health and families well-being during this month. Temples are closed down due to government’s prohibitory order but still devotees are trying hard to preserve culture of Shrawan. Huge numbers of devotees were visiting Pashupatinath area on Monday morning. People are preserving religion and culture while following trend of social media but forgetting current pandemic waves. While police personnel’s were trying hard and telling people to maintain social distancing but people were ignoring. They completely forgot maintaining the government directed rules. They were busy on making TikTok videos or taking selfies.
