Glamorous gai jatra of third gender
Third gender people celebrated Glamorous Gai Jatra with gleefully. Third gender people dressing up like women carried out a parade from Thamel to Basantapur which represent their cultural identity. Third gender has been participating in this festival from several years actively. Gai Jatra is the day of fun when nobody cares what you do. So the festival is the only day when people feel free to dress up in whatever way they want. Mostly third gender could not come out freely in other days so they take part in gai jatra happly in Nepal. Third gender from all over the nation was gathered in Kathmandu for Gai Jatra.
