“Muktiko Khoji” is a play directed and written by Mohan Niroula. The play is about the people (Haruwa Charuwa) of terai region who are poor, land less and are forced to live a critical life due to lack of education. Their wives, sisters and daughters are harassed sexually. Suraj Adhikari and Sabin Katwal have played the character of haruwa charuwa and Sunita Rana is the victim of sexual harassment in the play. Likewise, Rajendra Rawal is seen as one of the villagers in “Muktiko Khoji” whilst Salina Baniya and Rajesh Budathoki portray the character of his wife and son respectively. “Muktiko Khoji” has been staged at Sarwanam Theatre, Kalikasthan from 2nd Chaitra, 2072.
