SHANTI GURUNG AWARDED BY FONIJ UK
Senior journalist Shanti Gurung was honored by FONIJ (Federation of Nepali Indigenous Journalist) UK journalism award with cash rupees 30 thousand. Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Tham Maya Thapa Magar honored Shanti Gurung at office premises inside Singha Durbar. Gurung is working at Radio Nepal’s Gandaki Regional Broadcasting Center since 2054 BS. FONIJ UK prize is established by Ex British Gurkha Major Sonam chhiring Sherpa.
