Sindoor Jatra festival with 32 (khat) sedan chairs carrying 32 different images of god is celebrated at Thimi. Sindoor Jatra is celebrated on the third day of Bisket Jatra. It is one of the popular festival among others . Devotees celebrate this festival applying (Sindoor) vermillion powder to each other. Sindoor Jatra ends with the tongue-boring at Bode.
