UBHAULI SAKELA
Kirat community’s Ubhauli Sakela has been kicked off from today. Kirat community l celebrates Ubhauli Sakela for one month from ‘Baishakh Purnima’ full moon day of Baishakh. Kirat peoples living around Kathmandu, Lalitpurand Bhaktapur celebrated Ubhauli with great ambience at the program organized at Nakhipot, Lalitput. Ubhauli festival is celebrated by Rai, Limbu and Sunuwar community. They were clad in their own traditional attire.
