NEPAL INTERNATIONAL THEATER FESTIVAL KICKED OFF

Nepal International Theater Festival is officially started from today at Kathmandu. 7 days long festival is inaugurated by the hands of Prime Minister KP Oli. At an inauguration ceremony PM Oli promised to separate budget to promote theatrical education from coming year. “Countries development is not possible without development of art, music and culture” said PM Oli.
Theater festival’s director Rajan Khatiwada thanked PM Oli for praise, different donor for financial and physical help. Director Khatiwada said that drama’s history is not long in Nepal but its role is wide and deep. Khatiwada said that without meaningful thought society can’t move towards enrichment and he believed that this festival will definitely play an important role for society. During festival plays will be staging at four theaters of Kathmandu ie; Mandala Theater, Shilpi Theater, Kausi Theater and Theater Mall. Total 30 plays from 8 countries including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Norway, Italy and etc will staging at festival. Besides drama staging there will be interaction and discussion in varies of topic.
