Pratap a trained singer who belongs to Nepal. Trained under Hindustani Ustad Gulam Akbar Khan from Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.
He is part of AR Rahman’s Sufi ensemble and has performed with AR Rahman in Hollywood concerts and also worked as a back
vocalist for renowned Bollywood movies like Jab Tak Hain Jaan, Kadal, Kochadaiyaan. Pratap has even lent his voice in
several Hollywood movie Mumhammed, Pele etc. He was featured as Rising Star of AR Rahman by Behindwoods, currently
associated with the band called “Raag” as a lead vocalist. “Raag Band is Indian Pop Band based on Chennai. The band was
formed in the year of 2014 consist of keyboard player/composer-Soorya, Guitarist-Lakhan Khanna and singer Pratap “PrB”.
“Dhaldaina” (Nepal Anthem) song is composed by Soorya and sang by Pratap “PrB”. The main aim to compose this song was
to give a motivational message through the song to people in Nepal.
