Senior music composer and a playback singer, Shambhujit Baskota celebrated his birthday on March 15, Thursday. On the very day, Baskota announced his new film “Chauka Dau”, which marks his ninth venture. The news was announced in the capital on Thursday.
Talking about “Chauka Dau”, Baskota says that viewers should expect a fully entertainment social drama. The film is set to go on floors from Baisakh 2075 and is scheduled to release in theatres on Tihar 2075. The film will be directed by Sanrakshan director Punendra Jha and produced by Baskota’s son Sauryajiv Baskota.
The film will have Wilson Bikram Rai (Takme Budo), Rabindra Jha, Santosh Panta, Taiyab Shah, Nirmal Sharma in the pivotal roles. The main leads of the film has not been confirmed yet, says the source.
