Musical program KARNALIKA RANGAHARU was held yesterday with an aim to raise fund for hardworking students of Mugu. Program was organized by Karnali Art Center at Patan Dhoka at Lalitpur. Collected fund will be invested to develop skill for hardworking students. Karnali Art Center has been scheming ‘SCHOOL TO SCHOOL’ program from 2015 AD to preserve skill and culture of Karnali sector.
According to the director of Karnali Art Center, Hira Nepali they have been working in this field with an aim to preserve local culture and connecting it to enterprising development. Through this project they have been planning to help 5 government school’s student. ‘Local song, dance and other local culture are not taught in school, it has to be done by the government but since government doesn’t have this kind of practice we have started the campaign’ said Nepali.
Singer Jhuma Limbu ad singer Dr. Lochan Rijal sang Nepali folk song and writer Buddhi Sagar read his poems created in his struggle days. Besides musical performances arts which resembles were also exhibited at the event.
