MAHA SHIVARATRI/ARMY DAY
Today is Maha Shivaratri, the Day of the Lord Shiva and Nepal Army Day. Hindu people celebrate this day as a special day when they visit the nearest Shiva Temple and offer offerings. Nepali Army celebrated this day as Army Day in Nepal. They hold a special ceremony at Tundikhel Ground in presence of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Army officers and many other notable personnel.
