The government has closed the main gate of Melamchi Drinking water. The government has closed the main gate of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project’s tunnel at Ambathan Sindhupalchok. Since the monsoon is active early this year, the government has planned to close the water supply to Kathmandu to prevent the risk of flooding. The water supply tunnel will be opened after consulting the weather broadcast team from Kartik.
