NAG PANCHAMI CELEBRATION
Hindu Nepali people are celebrating Nag Panchami today. Nag Panchami is celebrated on Shravan Shukla Panchami every year. People stick posters of Nag/snake at the main entrance of the door. People believe that by sticking posters on the main entrance of houses, snakes and scorpions will not enter the house for the whole year. People worship Nag/snake today by offering cow milk, garland and sweets for their welfare.
