Nepali Hindu people celebrate Bhadra Shukla Pakshya (bright phase of Lunar cycle) for five days. Rishi Panchami falls after Haritalika Teej and Ganesh Chaturthi. It is one of the most important days of Hindu calendar. Devotees visit nearest temple on this day and worship Saptarishis (7 Sages). Below we have pictures of Hindu women celebrating Rishi Panchami at Banglamukhi Temple, Kathmandu Metropolitan.
