Sylvia Gurung and Sinjo Gurung clad in traditional attires on Poush 15, as the country celebrates “Tamu Lhosar” or “Gurung’s New Year”. Gurungs celebrate their most important holiday by visiting their hometowns a nd relatives and exchanging wishes for the new year and for health. They also visit the Buddhist shrines and gather in a common place.
