UDHAULI PARVA
Kirat community celebrated Udhauli Parva today with great ambience. They couldn’t celebrate Udhauli Parva in previous year due to pandemic. Nepal is multicultural country, it is rich in diversity. Multiple community lives here with various culture and tradition. Different community has diverse culture. They celebrate festivals on their own way. Today is full moon day on calendar. But this day is celebrated in different ways by different community. Kirat community called it Udhauli Parva where Newars called it Yomari Punhi, rest of them call it Dhanya Purnima. Kirat community worship and thank nature for good harvest and pay tribute to their ancestors on this day.
