109th INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

109th International Women’s Day is celebrating all over the world organizing various programs. This day is celebrated in memory of voice raised against women labor by Clara Zetkin on 8th March in 1911. “Ideal thinking and behavior for gender equality basis of prosperity ” is the theme for this year’s women’s day. On the occasion of 109th International Women’s Day Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists, Press Council Nepal, Press Union, Fonij and many other organizations relating to media sector is organizing a rally from Bhrikuti Mandap to Basantapur, rally will kicked off at 1 pm. This rally is organize with the aim to make more women involved in media such as newsroom, management, leadership and policy level.
