4 NEPALESE LISTED IN WHO 100+OUTSTANDING WOMEN NURSES, MIDWIVES
Four Nepalese have been listed in 100+ outstanding women nurses and midwives in (World Health Organization (WHO). The four Nepalese listed are Prasansha Budha Lama (midwife), Sushma Yonzon (nurse), Rukumani Tripathi (midwife and nurse) and Durga Sapkota (nurse).
100+ women have been listed in WHO outstanding women nurses and midwives for their achievements and contributions from 43 countries and across 6 global regions, to recognize these women and the millions of nurses and midwives around the world. In honour of Florence Nightingale’s 200th birth anniversary, WHO had declared 2020 the “Year of Nurse and Midwife”.
