CHHATH FESTIVAL
Maithili community celebrates Chhath festival with great ambience. On Chhath Maithili people goes near to the water resources like pond, river and other to worship rising and setting sun. At the main day of Chhath devotees offer Argha to the setting sun and they stay up for the whole night. The Chhath will be ended after they offer Argha to the rising sun after staying up for the whole night. Devotees believe that the Chhath festival brings peace, prosperity and unity among each other
