DANCING RITUAL IN DEATH OF GURUNG PEOPLE : PHOTO FEATURE

Nepal is a country reach in different culture and tradition. More than hundred different caste people lives here with different language, culture and tradition. Gurungs are one of them, they have their own language, attire, culture and tradition. They have their own unique kind of rituals in their lives from birth to death. SYARGA NACH (SYARGA DANCE) is a unique dance form of Gurungs. They perform SYARGA DANCE only in death rituals by selected group of people. This dance is performed at death rituals of Gurung people. Today streetnepals cinematographer happened to attend this ritual at SOPAL TAMU SAMAJ in Kathmandu. Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality’s BABA SAMUHA were performing SYARGA DANCE there.
