JANAI PURNIMA
Nepalese hindu people are celebrating “Janai purnima” today. Janai Purnima is also known as Raksha Bandhan. Janai Purnima lies in the full moon of Bhadra (August). Brahmins and Chhetri men change their sacred thread (Janai) on this day.
