The funeral ceremony of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha was performed monday with the government honor at Pashupati aaryaghat . 47 year old deceased actor Shrestha died while undergoing treatment in India Saturday night. Late shrestha was very popular actor among the nepali film audience.

He had played more than hundred films. A Mero hajur, Gorkhali, Maiti, Aafno Manche, Kaha Bhetiyela, Sukha Dukha were his successful movies among others. His debute film was Bhumari. His last movie was Kohinoor. Which is being screened across the country at the moment. This was realesed last Friday.

Late shrestha had married to actress sweta khadka just a month ago. Soon after marriage it was reported that the newly-wed couple fled to Simla for honeymoon trip, it was later revealed that the couple had visited India for Shrestha’s treatment. His body was brought to Kathmandu this afternoon.

It was scheduled that shrestha’s body will be kept at Nepal Academy Hall up to 3 hours for final tributes but the body could not be kept there because of huge number of his fans and well wishers who came there to pay their last repect to the late actor. So it was taken to the aryaghat .

Information Minister Minendra Rijal,UCPN leaders Puspa kamal Dahal ‘prachanda’, Hisila yami,Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC and almost all of film industry peoples, family member , relatives,well wisher were present at the Academy Hall to pay their last tribute to the late actor shrestha.
