Vibrant singer Nikhita Thapa
Nikhita Thapa is a very talented new artist in Nepalese music industry. Nikhita is already nominated in Image Awards 2014 in the category of ‘Best New Artist of the year’. “ma ta timro naphape ko manche “ is the song that was nominated for award. Song was taken from the album ‘SATYATA-2’ by Gobind Prasad Upadyay. Born and raised up in India Nikhita started to sing at very tender age of 3 ½ year.
She has lived in metro cities as also in the remotest of places in India with her family. After seeing her vibrant enthusiasm in music her parents and all the family members always encouraged her to get involve in music. She has taken formal vocal training from various music teachers. After seven years of formal training she completed her VISHARAD and also graduated in commerce from HR College of Commerce and Economics, with distinction in both. Nikhita has taken part in various singing competition and won the title.
On one of her visits to her relatives in Kathmandu, Nepal, she came across Music composer Rajan Ishan who gave her an opportunity to render her voice for the female vocal of the song ‘Jatichan’ (movie 3 lovers) lyrics – Kishor Thapa. The experience gave her an opportunity to come in close contact with Nepali music and she made up her mind to start her musical career from the Nepali music industry. After a full one and a half years of immense hardwork by the entire team, consisting of well known people in the industry, the album “NIKHITA” finally came into being. And was launched by the most senior and respected artists from the industry on the 5th of Sept 2014. Her new music videos are on pipeline. This will hit the market soon.
काठमाडौं, साउन १७ — नेपाल तमु गुरुङ विद्यार्थी सङ्घले सञ्चालन गरेको आर्थिक सहयोग अभियानबाट संकलित १ लाख ७५ हजार रुपैयाँ सुकुम्बासी तमु गुरुङ विद्यार्थी विश्वनाथ गुरुङ र उनको परिवारलाई हस्तान्तरण गरिएको छ।
१५ दिनसम्म सञ्चालन गरिएको अभियानबाट उठेको रकम शनिबार मित्रनगरस्थित तमु गुरुङ राष्ट्रिय परिषद्को सभाहलमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा हस्तान्तरण गरिएको हो।
कार्यक्रममा यस वर्षको माध्यमिक शिक्षा परीक्षा (एसईई) मा ४ जीपीए ल्याएका तमु गुरुङ समुदायका १० जना विद्यार्थीलाई सम्मान गरिएको थियो। साथै, नेपाल आदिवासी जनजाति महासङ्घ संघीय परिषद्को वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्षमा निर्वाचित नेपाल तमु गुरुङ विद्यार्थी सङ्घका पूर्वअध्यक्ष दिल तमुलाई पनि सम्मान गरिएको आयोजकले जनाएको छ।
कार्यक्रममा वक्ताहरूले शिक्षा र सामाजिक सहकार्यका माध्यमबाट विपन्न विद्यार्थीलाई सहयोग गर्ने अभियानलाई निरन्तरता दिने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरेका थिए।
दीपमाला ढकाल मिस नेपाल वर्ल्ड २०२६ घोषित भएकी छन्। ललितपुरस्थित द प्लाजा पुल्चोकमा शनिबार आयोजित ग्रान्ड फिनालेमा उनले मिस नेपाल २०२६ को मुख्य उपाधि जितेकी हुन्।
यसैगरी, आर्या निशान्त मिस नेपाल इन्टरनेशनल २०२६ र कशिश सुब्बा मिस नेपाल कोस्मो २०२६ घोषित भए। विजेताहरूले अब सम्बन्धित अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगितामा नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्नेछन्।
यस वर्षको प्रतियोगितामा देशभरबाट छनोट भएका प्रतिस्पर्धीहरूबीच विभिन्न चरणको प्रतिस्पर्धापछि विजेताको घोषणा गरिएको हो।
काठमाडौंको ऐतिहासिक रानीपोखरी (न्हू पुखू) र त्यस वरपरको क्षेत्र पछिल्लो समय झन् आकर्षक देखिन थालेको छ।
३६० डिग्री एरियल दृश्यमा रानीपोखरी, घण्टाघर, त्रिचन्द्र क्याम्पस, खुलामञ्च आसपासको क्षेत्र तथा पुरानो काठमाडौंको शहरी संरचना एकै फ्रेममा मनमोहक रूपमा देख्न सकिन्छ।
२०७२ सालको भूकम्पले क्षति पुर्याएको रानीपोखरीलाई परम्परागत मल्लकालीन शिखर शैलीमा पुनःनिर्माण गरिएको हो। पुनःनिर्माणपछि सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको यो ऐतिहासिक सम्पदा अहिले काठमाडौं आउने आन्तरिक तथा बाह्य पर्यटकको प्रमुख आकर्षण बनेको छ।
काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाको व्यवस्थापनमा रहेको रानीपोखरी परिसरमा बिहानदेखि साँझसम्म निःशुल्क प्रवेशको व्यवस्था छ। पोखरीको बीचभागमा रहेको ऐतिहासिक बालगोपालेश्वर मन्दिर भने वर्षमा एकपटक तिहारको भाइटीकाका दिन मात्र दर्शन तथा पूजाआजाका लागि खुला गरिन्छ।
नियमित सरसफाइ, हरियाली संरक्षण र आकर्षक प्रकाश व्यवस्थापनका कारण रानीपोखरीको सौन्दर्य अझ निखारिएको छ। ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक तथा सांस्कृतिक महत्व बोकेको यो सम्पदा काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको प्रमुख पर्यटकीय गन्तव्यका रूपमा स्थापित हुँदै गएको छ।
