INDIGENOUS AGAINST CUTTING OFF HOLIDAYS
Indigenous community demonstrate against government at Kathmandu for cutting off their religious and traditional festivals. Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities called to demonstrate indigenous community at Maitighar in Kathmandu. Indigenous community were present their on their traditional attire. Government has cut off holidays for Gurung, Tamang, Sherpa’s festival Lhosar, Magar, Tharu’s Maghi, Kirat’s Ubhauli and Udhauli from previous month. Indigenous leaders said that they will continue to demonstrate until government take back their decision.
