KATHMANDU TRIENNALE 2077 AN ART EXHIBITION
Kathmandu Triennale’s fourth edition has been kicked off. In cooperation with Siddhartha Art Foundation and Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Ministry Kathmandu Triennale did a virtual inauguration on 28th Magh. The event was postponed to this date due to the ongoing Pandemic. Foundation has informed that interested can participate both virtually or physically in the program. More than 3 hundred artworks are being exhibited at
5 different venues. Venues are Kathmandu Siddhartha Art Gallery, Patan Museum, Bahadur Shah Baithak, Taragaon Sangrahalaya, and Nepal Art Council. Foundation has claimed that the event is organized to develop and promote Nepali art and culture. The first edition of the Kathmandu Triennale was held in 2009 in the initiation of Sangita Thapa. Thapa is the founder and director of Siddhartha Arts Foundation.
