Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche’s funeral
The funeral of 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche held today at syarbhan gumba kathmandu, Nepal with a special worship.The worship was performed wishing for peace to the departed soul with the participation of high-ranking Buddhist clerics. More than 100 thousand Buddhist followers from inside and outside Nepal paid their last respect to Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche.The 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche died because of a certain heart attack on June 11th,2014 in Rnchen-ulm Germany.All the rituals before the funeral were carried out as per the Tibetan Buddhist tradition with the chanting of the Buddhist monks including the 17th Karmapa.The 17th Karmapa came to Nepal from India to attend his funeral.
