ADWITIYA PRATIBIMBA: 16TH GRADUATION FASHION SHOW OF NCFT
One of the most awaited fashion extravaganzas of the year, the graduation fashion show of Namuna College of Fashion Technology, NCFT has ended in a grand way at The Soaltee Kathmandu on 6th April 2022. The 16th graduation fashion show entitled “Adwitiya Pratibimba” unfolded the saga of creativity, innovation and imagination portrayed on the canvas of various fabrics, explored through various elements of design and variations, expressed in various moods of colors to make every single piece of clothing to have a magnificent and mesmerizing look.
This time the 16th graduation fashion show had 82 graduating fashion designers presenting their splendid individual creativity in a spectacular way. The show had 82 designs of 82 graduating talented designers presented in 11 various sequences each having a masterpiece of creative wear as the highlight of the collection. The show was directed and choreographed by media person and fashion choreographer Rojin Shakya. There were 23 female and 8 male models to showcase the fashion presentation on the runway. The models included both the professional models as well as the students of the college itself. The event was organized and managed by the 16th graduating batch and was powered by Benelli Motorcycles whereas Make-up Durbar was the grooming partner of the event.
The show also incorporated the launching of the first-ever fashion catalog published by Namuna College of fashion technology. The unveiling of the fashion catalog was jointly been performed by Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala and Founder Principal of Namuna College Mrs. Gyani Shova Tuladhar. The show was presented as a part of the academic requirements of the “Fashion Show” course of the final (eight) semester under Purbanchal University’s Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management (BFDM) program.
दीपमाला ढकाल मिस नेपाल वर्ल्ड २०२६ घोषित भएकी छन्। ललितपुरस्थित द प्लाजा पुल्चोकमा शनिबार आयोजित ग्रान्ड फिनालेमा उनले मिस नेपाल २०२६ को मुख्य उपाधि जितेकी हुन्।
यसैगरी, आर्या निशान्त मिस नेपाल इन्टरनेशनल २०२६ र कशिश सुब्बा मिस नेपाल कोस्मो २०२६ घोषित भए। विजेताहरूले अब सम्बन्धित अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सौन्दर्य प्रतियोगितामा नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्नेछन्।
यस वर्षको प्रतियोगितामा देशभरबाट छनोट भएका प्रतिस्पर्धीहरूबीच विभिन्न चरणको प्रतिस्पर्धापछि विजेताको घोषणा गरिएको हो।
काठमाडौंको ऐतिहासिक रानीपोखरी (न्हू पुखू) र त्यस वरपरको क्षेत्र पछिल्लो समय झन् आकर्षक देखिन थालेको छ।
३६० डिग्री एरियल दृश्यमा रानीपोखरी, घण्टाघर, त्रिचन्द्र क्याम्पस, खुलामञ्च आसपासको क्षेत्र तथा पुरानो काठमाडौंको शहरी संरचना एकै फ्रेममा मनमोहक रूपमा देख्न सकिन्छ।
२०७२ सालको भूकम्पले क्षति पुर्याएको रानीपोखरीलाई परम्परागत मल्लकालीन शिखर शैलीमा पुनःनिर्माण गरिएको हो। पुनःनिर्माणपछि सर्वसाधारणका लागि खुला गरिएको यो ऐतिहासिक सम्पदा अहिले काठमाडौं आउने आन्तरिक तथा बाह्य पर्यटकको प्रमुख आकर्षण बनेको छ।
काठमाडौं महानगरपालिकाको व्यवस्थापनमा रहेको रानीपोखरी परिसरमा बिहानदेखि साँझसम्म निःशुल्क प्रवेशको व्यवस्था छ। पोखरीको बीचभागमा रहेको ऐतिहासिक बालगोपालेश्वर मन्दिर भने वर्षमा एकपटक तिहारको भाइटीकाका दिन मात्र दर्शन तथा पूजाआजाका लागि खुला गरिन्छ।
नियमित सरसफाइ, हरियाली संरक्षण र आकर्षक प्रकाश व्यवस्थापनका कारण रानीपोखरीको सौन्दर्य अझ निखारिएको छ। ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक तथा सांस्कृतिक महत्व बोकेको यो सम्पदा काठमाडौं उपत्यकाको प्रमुख पर्यटकीय गन्तव्यका रूपमा स्थापित हुँदै गएको छ।
पोखरा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थल पूर्ण रूपमा सञ्चालनमा आएपछि शहरको केन्द्रभागमा रहेको पुरानो विमानस्थल (पोखरा घरेलु विमानस्थल) हाल साहसिक पर्यटन र हिमाली क्षेत्रका उडानमा केन्द्रित भएको छ ।
सन् १९५८ देखि सञ्चालनमा आएको यो ऐतिहासिक विमानस्थलबाट ठूला व्यावसायिक उडानहरू नयाँ अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा स्थानान्तरण भइसकेका छन् । यद्यपि, भौगोलिक संवेदनशीलता र प्राविधिक सहजताका कारण पोखरा–जोमसोम रुटको उडान भने अझै पनि यही पुरानो विमानस्थलबाट भइरहेको छ ।
यसका साथै, पोखराको पर्यटनको मुख्य आकर्षण मानिने अल्ट्रालाइट उडान, हेलिकप्टर चार्टर र आकस्मिक उद्धारका उडानहरूका लागि यो विमानस्थल अहिले पनि उत्तिकै व्यस्त र उपयोगी माध्यम बनिरहेको छ ।
