ROYAL FAMILY CELEBRATED 200 YEAR CELEBRATION WITH GURKHA

British Gurkha Army celebrated 200th anniversary of Gurkha service to the British Crown. Her Majesty The Queen has attended a celebration in honor of the thousands of Gurkha who have served in the British Army. An event was organized on Tuesday evening at the premises of Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. Prince Charles, Philip and Harry were also present at the event with The Queen. 1400 of guest were invited including Sultan of Brunei at the ceremony. Queen met the only living V.C. Captain Ram Bahadur Limbu, who came to attend the function. He fought for the British Crown in 1965 at Indonesia and won the highest medal of British Gurkha Victoria Cross.  Gurkha welfare trust has organized the ceremony. Cultural displays, re-enactments and music from the Band of the Brigade of Gurkha was the main attraction of the function.
