Alongside his collection of soothing and melodious folk songs, his captivating lyrics have resonated with listeners and viewers alike. About two decades ago, before Alok Shree’s music gained popularity, Sugam was known for his versatile folk songs. He has touched the hearts of audiences through his songs that reflect the essence of culture.

In recent times, his emotionally charged songs like, “Afnai Pita Purkha Haru Ko Samjhana Ma” have also resonated strongly with listeners and viewers. Sugam has created numerous songs that showcase the diversity and richness of Nepali culture, drawing inspiration from both eastern and western musical influences. One such example is the song “Karnali” which reflects the uniqueness of the Far-Western region.
