In Adriano Marrey maximum security jail at Brazil, inmates held colorful crochet fashion show of their own creation. All the designer wears were knitted and designed by inmates in colorful threads. Inmates were introduced to needle work by Brazilian fashion designer Gustavo Silvestre to rehabilitate inmates. Inmates who join the program get their sentences reduced by one day for completing 12 hour course. One of the inmate said that crocheting help him to calm and overcome, smoking and drugs.
