Today is Republic Day in Nepal so it is also a national holiday. In 2065 BS Jestha 15 Constitution Assembly officially declared it as the Republic day of Nepal. 240-year reign of the Shah Kings Assembly of Nepal was ended on this day. On the occasion of Republic Day every year the Nepal government organizes a special program at the Tundikhel Kathmandu. This year also a Republic Day special program was organized at Tundikhel Kathmandu in presence of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and other notable personalities of the Nepal government. . .
