A drama Buddha and Bhikhari is currently staging at Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun. Anil Subba directorial drama is translated and transformed by Chetan Aangthupo. The story of a drama is taken from old Nepali tale and will be performed from 16th to 32 Jestha everyday excepts on Mondays. There will be extra show on Saturdays. The drama tells the story of Buddha and his followers. Artist Bedana Rai, Pratina Rai, Rupesh Lama Ganesh Tandav, Nabin Chandra Aryal, and others have worked on the play. Artist Suraj Tamu, Bal Krishna Rai, Anil Subba and Prabbiddhi Rai have worked in the music.
